		<description>Well there is no sideffects per say. But if you want your heartburn under control then the answer to your question is to avoid alcohol.

Stop Heartburn and Acid Reflux

Try eating smaller meals, and don&#039;t eat two to three hours before bedtime. 
Avoid foods that may trigger heartburn, such as fried food, citrus, tomato, spices, peppermint, chocolate, and carbonated drinks.

Stop smoking if you smoke.
