I was on an iv drip of flagyl (for 15 minutes) and another antibiotic (forget the name) for an infection which is clearing up. It’s been 30 hours since I was on the flagyl (a definite no-no for alcohol), Do you think I could have a drink tonight or will it still be in my system?

  1. A friendly tip. Whenever you take any medication of any kind in any method, don’t touch alcohol for at least 72 hours. Alcohol and medication don’t mix and the mix effects people differently.
    Better to be sure than sorry.
