I am on the birth control shot, you know Depo Provera and I looked up the side effects. Well it told me that some anti-seizure medications can weaken the shot. Does anybody know if Depakote is one of them?

the only thing i know that makes birth control methods fail is antibiotics. i would talk to your gyn about all the medications your taking and see which one’s can cause the birth control to fail
Depo Provera itself is a horrible drug and I’d get off of it asap. There are too many issues going on with that drug for it to be administered! I was on it for several years and I’d never recommend it.
