Can anyone ever develop permanent stiffness or other health problems from Geodon?

20mg twice a day. I can barely ride my bike or walk long distances. I get cramped muscles.

Yes, you can develop those symptoms unfortunatly. Here is a list that you might take a look at.

The most common side effects are:

Feeling very tired or sleepy
Upset stomach
Constipation
Feeling dizzy
Muscle movements you are unable to control, such as tremor or shuffling
Diarrhea
Rash
Restlessness
Increased cough/runny nose
Fever, sweating, confusion, muscle stiffness

I am so sorry you are going through this. You might call your doc and see if he can decrease the dose or put you on something altogether different.
