Can a potassium sparing diuretic lessen the effect of Lexapro?

by Admin on March 15, 2010

My husband had a heart attack and it seems as if his Lexapro isn’t working as well as previously. He is taking many meds. I wonder if his diuretic is flushing the Lexapro through his body too quickly.

You need to read "The High Blood Pressure Hoax," by Sherry Rodgers, MD. I just finished it and it is one of the best books I have ever read. No BS, and there are about 3 pages of citations to medical journals at the end of each chapter. She says all diseases start via a deterioration of the blood vessels. This condition is much more common now because we are full of heavy metals, drugs, and artificial food ingredients.

She tells you what happens when you lack particular chemicals/minerals, and how to test for them. For example, one of the things that causes high blood pressure is a lack of magnesium. Yet, more than half the doctors of never checked the magnesium levels of their patients until AFTER they died.

She also gives you a list of vitamins & minerals to take, because all pharma drugs decrease the amount of these in your cells, which leads to more problems.

You need this book, it is awesome!

Good luck to you and your husband.
