I’ve had therapeutic foster girls in my home that did this. It’s difficult to live on these drugs.

Best thing I can offer is to try to explain your concerns to the doctor. They should be listening to you for your feedback.

I’m diagnosed w/Atypical depression. I go to one of the top Dr’s in the world. I am on both of those meds. I take Abilify in the AM and 400mg of Seroquel at bedtime. I would NEVER take Seroquel during the day – it’s no wonder you feel “a bit down” (probably more than a bit too). I was mis-diagnosed for most of my life (I’m 46) w/ having bipolar. In addition to my Abilify, I take Provigil (used sometimes w/people w/Narcolepsy(those are the people who fall asleep even when they are in the middle of a task). Provigil gives me just enough energy to get things done during the day. Seroquel will make you drowsy/feel depressed because you feel like your running on empty. Search the Web and research the symptoms of both Bipolar and Atypical Depression. Good Luck to you. I’m in the same boat.

Yes! I was put on seroquel and abilify at the same time it made me severely sick I had migraines from it and I felt down and felt like a zombie I went off from it after three months of torcher. Now I take abilify 30 mg a day, Trilectal 1200 mg a day and lurica 300 mg a day. I’m bi-polar and these three medicines have been a blessing to me in keeping my moods balanced out. I hope this helps! hugs!
