I feel for you, I too am allergic to Morphine derivatives. They make me itch and I get really paranoid on them.

After my knee surgury my surgeon prescribed Toridal, it really did the trick. It allowed me to finally relax. But I’ll warn you now, it only works for a few days then stops completely. It’s does this so you cannot become addicted to it. Your doctor may switch you to Demerol after that.
