Im allergic to Bactrim and told my dermatologist this. She prescribed Sulfacetamide Sodium Suspension for my face. It says not to use if allergic to Bactrim but since she knows this and Im not ingesting it I should just kind of look for any signs of a reaction right? Im just confused on why she would prescribe it knowing my allergy.

Yikes, I don’t know but I don’t like it. There HAS to be a better choice.
