After inhaling the medication say 3 min or so. You coughed hard couple times. Is it possible to actually cough out the medication you just inhaled there? or is there saying that for how long you should not cough or speak after inhaling advair?

  1. Advair is a powder inhaler. Some of the powder does get to the part of the respiratory sytem that it needs to go to while some will get in your mouth, back of your throat, etc… It can make you cough if it hits the right place. After you take Advair, you are supposed to rinse your mouth out. This may help clean it out and stop you from coughing the next time.
